About Author

Henry Shaw.Lead PCB Engineer – IWDF Solutions

Henry Shaw is the Lead PCB Engineer at IWDF Solutions, with more than a decade of hands-on experience in PCB design, PCB Reverse engineering, and hardware development. He has supported over 200 PCB projects across industries including consumer electronics, 5G mobile devices, industrial control systems, IoT products, and automotive modules.

Henry is proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro, and works in alignment with recognized engineering and manufacturing standards including IPC guidelines and ISO quality practices. This allows him to ensure that designs are not only electrically sound, but also practical for real production environments.

Rather than focusing only on layout execution, Henry approaches each project from both a circuit and manufacturing perspective. By aligning schematic intent with real-world production constraints, he helps customers reduce unnecessary design revisions, improve product reliability, and move from prototype to manufacturing more efficiently.

At IWDF Solutions, Henry is closely involved in technical reviews, design validation, and process optimization. He collaborates with both engineering and production teams to make sure every design is scalable, manufacturable, and cost-controlled from the start.

He also contributes to IWDF Solutions’ technical articles, sharing insights drawn from real project experience to help hardware teams better understand design trade-offs, manufacturing risks, and cost considerations throughout the PCB development process.
